WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for people aged 18 years and over familiar and unfamiliar with virtual/augmented reality content (usually experienced through head mounted displays) to take part in our studies.

WHAT DO PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO DO ?

We are looking for people to take part in:

- a 90 minutes focus group discussion (selected participants will be paid £20 for their time), and/or

- an approximately 60 minute lab experiment where you will engage with digital story content and experiences (selected participants will be paid £10 for their time) presented on a head mounted Virtual Reality system. 

WHERE WILL THE STUDY TAKE PLACE?
The study will be carried out at Goldsmiths, University of London, in the i2 media research lab (Tube station: New Cross Gate) between November 2017 and January 2018.

THIS STUDY IS NOW COMPLETE

We are conducting a study to evaluate an application that aims to improve the TV experience for people with colour blindness. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for people aged 18 years and over with red-green colour-blindness.

WILL PARTICIPANTS GET PAID?
Yes, each participant will be paid £20 (plus up to £10 return travel expenses if receipts are provided).

WHAT DO PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO DO IN THE EXPERIMENT?
Participants will be asked to complete at least one colour sensitivity test, watch a series of videos and fill in some questionnaires. All personal information will be treated confidentially and kept safely.

HOW LONG WILL THE EXPERIMENT LAST?
The experiment will last about 1 hour

WHERE WILL THE STUDY TAKE PLACE?

THIS STUDY IS NOW COMPLETE

We are conducting a study commissioned by Direct Line (insurance company) to inform a promotional campaign about life's everyday emergencies/little stresses. We’re looking for people aged 18 years or over, who are native English speakers and willing to commit to a 5-7 day study. It requires:

- an initial telephone chat to explain the full requirements, allowing you to ask questions, and checking that you're happy to consent;

- completing an easy to record daily diary to note the highs and lows of your day accompanied by a 2-minute video diary;

- availability on Thursday 19th March between 1pm and 6pm to take part in a discussion group at Goldsmiths University. This will be video recorded by Direct Line and may be used as part of their promotional materials for their campaign. 

PEOPLE WHO COMPLETE ALL PARTS OF THE RESEARCH WILL RECEIVE £125.

THIS STUDY IS NOW COMPLETE

We are conducting a study to evaluate and suggest improvement to a website which gives information related to weather. The experiment will take place at Goldsmiths University and will take approximately 1 hour. 

PARTICIPANTS ARE PAID £15 FOR THEIR TIME. 

Please be aware that as part of the experiment we will be monitoring facial expressions using emotion reading technology.
